Stephanie Holmes has a stay at motel Taupo Rainbow Point airport.
Hotel Location: farthest from the city.
Just before welcoming to the Taupo sign by the lake, but it's still just a 5-
It takes only a few minutes to drive to town.
You can reach the lake by foot-just a five-
Only minutes from the motel. Check-
Experience: my mom is from the UK and arrived at Taupo by coach from Rotorua and checked in earlier in the day and she said everything was friendly and helpful.
My partner and I arrived late at night after driving down from Auckland, so we didn't take the plunge to the reception.
Price: studio starts at $135 per night. Room: A two-bedroom ground-
Floor corner unit with lounge and kitchen.
The bedroom is very compact with a comfortable double bed with not much storage.
The lounge is equipped with comfortable sofas and armchairs, as well as a four-person room.
Seating table and maximum wallmounted flat-
Screen TV I have seen.
It was at least 50 inch and really overwhelmed the room.
There is a small courtyard area with tables and chairs outside. there is a night sun here.
After a busy few days of traveling, this is a great place to have a glass of wine.
One side is the parking lot and the other side is the road.
Bed: too small, too soft, I don't like it.
But the linen is of high quality and is sparkling white.
Bathroom: basic bathroom types that can be found in undecorated villas-
Stainless steel shower with shower curtain, old sink with difficulty to open and close the faucet and toilet with noise flush.
Everything was clean, though, and there was plenty of room.
Toiletries: regular shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and small soap.
Food and drink: Although there is a kitchen in the unit, the pan bowl pans basin is not provided.
The woman at the reception told my mom that they could provide it on request.
Maybe they 've had problems with temporary tourists before?
There are also a few signs in the kitchen that prohibit guests from cooking trout and hot food
Smell the food in the unit.
I think it's fair enough.
Continental breakfast with orange juice, cereal and toast.
Exercise: no on the spot;
Head to the lake for a walk or jog along the path.
The scenery is too good to miss.
Noise: our neighbor stayed late in the yard and was a bit noisy.
The next night, supporters often applauded and cheered the last Ironman to finish the marathon that day.
But who will be angry with such dedication?
Entertainment: stay at home and watch the huge TV?
Otherwise, it is only a short drive from Taupo's food. Wi-
Fi: free and fast, even if the four of us use it at the same time.
Contact: airportmoteltaupo. co.
Will I come back?
